The Nalayira Divya Prabandham — literally, the four thousand divine verses — is the collected corpus of Tamil hymns composed by the twelve Azhwars. Compiled by Sri Nathamuni, it is revered in the Sri Vaishnava tradition as the Tamil Veda: a scripture equal in authority and sanctity to the Sanskrit Vedas.
